After proudly serving the Illawarra community for over 60 years and across three generations, our family business — Corrimal Lounges & Layback Living — is entering an exciting new chapter.

We are thrilled to announce that our store has been acquired by another passionate, family-operated business with shared values and a strong reputation — Custom Designs, a respected name in furniture retail with over 20 years of experience and several successful stores across Sydney and the Shire region.

Our final day of trading will be Friday, the 29th of August, with the new owners officially taking over from Monday, the 1st of September. We still have some great specials available on new orders and display stock, but particularly on our display stock. Please come in to say goodbye and snag a bargain at the same time.

This transition marks a positive step forward, and we are genuinely confident that the new owners will continue to uphold the same core principles that have defined Corrimal Lounges & Layback Living: quality furniture at affordable prices, outstanding customer service, and a deep commitment to the local community.

The new management will continue to offer your favourite brands in comfort and reclining furniture, including La-Z-Boy Furniture and IMG Comfort, alongside an expanded range of exciting, custom Australian-made timber and lounge pieces. We are confident this next chapter will bring even more choice and inspiration to your home.
